Description
These Type 27, Type 28 and Type 29 grinding and/or cut off wheels feature depressed centers, and may also be known as raised hub wheels.
The flange/lock nut is recessed within the wheel.
Aluminum Oxide abrasive is suitable for cutting and grinding ferrous metals.
Ceramic abrasive is suitable for fast cutting on almost all materials, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aerospace alloys.
Diamond abrasive is suitable for most metals, including steel, sheet metal, stainless steel, rebar, cast-iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals.
Silicon Carbide abrasive is suitable for cutting nonferrous materials such as concrete and masonry, as well as aluminum.
Zirconium Aluminum Oxide abrasive is suitable for aggressive material removal on ferrous metals, gray iron, stainless steel, nonferrous materials, aluminum, and pipeline.
